Don’t Cut Costs and Invite an OSHA Citation: Maintaining a Balance Between Reducing Hand Injuries, PPE Costs & Maintaining OSHA Compliance
In today’s economic environment many companies are striving to reduce costs in every aspect of their plant operations. PPE is often a target of cost-cutting measures and changes are made without fully understanding the impact on worker safety. At the same time companies are trying to reduce PPE expenditures, OSHA is increasing enforcement activity and adding inspectors. Companies can achieve cost reduction mandates without reducing worker protection by making smart choices.
The presentation will include a number of scenarios detailing specific ergonomic and safety challenges, the solutions implemented and the results. The webinar will also discuss trends in hand protection design and development and how these factors will impact hand protection products in the future.
